5 Low GI Foods and Their Healing Benefits

Anyone trying to control their carb intake is familiar with the Glycemic Index. According to Worlds Healthiest Foods it means “Glycemic Index (GI) is a measurement carried out on carbohydrate-containing foods and their impact on our blood sugar.”

This information is important for people managing their blood sugar as well as people trying to eat healthy. There are very low, low, medium and high categories. There is even a website where you can check your food. You can find it here.

What I would like to do today is cover 5 different foods that have healing properties and are very low or low GI. I am basing these on what I love to eat!
